Over the course of his long tenure with WI-DOC, Brad Hompe has done nearly every job imaginable. That is because he started off as a corrections officer and worked his way up the ladder, hitting every rung on the way to becoming a prison warden and now, beyond that. From his humble position as a corrections officer, he worked hard to be promoted to sergeant, then to lieutenant, then to captain, until he was made a unit manager and deputy warden, all before he became a warden.

Brad Hompe knows how jails and prisons work because has, quite literally, done it all. Whereas he is currently a Corrections Complaint Examiner and Investigator with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (WI-DOC), the fact of the matter is, it took Brad Hompe many years to get into that position. He is there because he has a high level of experience in the operations of jails and prisons. Brad has worked at virtually every level of the corrections system by now. For example, he has worked as a prison staff employee, as well as a jail inspector, an instructor and trainer.
